Prince of Peace Organic Green Tea: Affordable, Light, Authentic Taste

2 mins read

If you’re looking for a fresh, light-tasting green tea that is free of pesticides and chemicals, Prince of Peace Organic Green Tea is right up your alley.

We already know that the consumption of green tea can do everything from promoting cardiovascular health to fighting the growth of cancer cells, but green tea also has an excellent natural taste!

After trying the tea for the first time a few months back, it has become my absolute favorite drink. What I like most about it is the light, thin grassy taste that makes it ideal for drinking in any situation. It has enough clean, authentic green tea taste to go great with snacks and meals, but is also light enough to be enjoyed by itself as a refreshing iced drink on a warm spring afternoon. I love the delicate taste so much that I drink it like water–to the tune of an entire 6-cup pot per day.

If the taste isn’t enough to draw you in, the Prince of Peace 100% organic promise will get you to give it a serious look. It is 100% USDA organic, which means it is grown without the use of pesticides, unnatural fertilizer, or genetically-modified organisms. And what’s more: organic green tea tastes fresher and more authentic than non-organic.

When I take a sip of this tea, I taste no strange additives or artificial flavoring–just pure, all-natural, completely organic, home-grown style green tea. From fresh soil straight to the tea bag is what every true green tea connoisseur wants, and that’s exactly what is found in this organic green tea.

And if you’re still not sold on this tea, the affordability might put you over the top. At just over $5 for a box of 100 bags, you get premium organic tea at an excellent price. And if you’re looking to save money, you can get the same amount of a non-organic version of Prince of Peace Green Tea for two dollars less. I’ve tried both and prefer the more authentic organic version, and strongly believe the extra spend is well worth it.

A major drawback of the brand is its fragile tea bags. The string attached to the teabag is extremely brittle and falls off easily. If you steep your tea for more than one minute, you WILL lose your teabag–guaranteed.

What I do is staple a string (sometimes a short piece of floss) to the tea bag myself before steeping to make sure I can retain control of the bag, and that seems to work just fine. It’s a hassle, but for the great taste of this green tea, it’s well worth it.

Unlike major brands like Lipton, Prince of Peace offers a green tea that is clean, authentic, and with a taste that is not at all overpowering.

I drink this product multiple times every day, and I highly recommend it.
